Yes, we took a few years off as did much of the world, but Carol and Dale are back- in a new town, with new music. We are now booking shows on the east coast in 2024, so hopefully we will soon be coming to a town near you! Carol and Dale here... welcome to our music! You may know us for our festival, The Blackberry Jam. You may know us as berry farmers, piano teacher or technician. But before all that, what made Carol and Dale into Carol and Dale was the MUSIC. Mixing intricate guitar work, lots of harmonies, and insightful lyrics, this duo has been honing their craft for over 30years. Two albums available now; Legacy and Be Here Now, including the songs “ Let the Rain” and “That's Enough”. Our newest single is also available on all platforms “ More Than a Village.” More new music coming soon!

Spring time, music time
Spring is in the air, if you don't count the snow we had on Tuesday, and Carol and Dale are making music! We just updated the events page so you can see where to check us out in the local area in the coming months, beginning with this Monday, March 26 in downtown Franklin. Hope to see you! We're still here!
Been a long time since we have posted... my computer skills are not what they should be. Just wanted to say hi and let everyone know we are still doing our thing! We have played some really unique venues recently, and hope to have that trend continue into 2018. Meanwhile, if you haven't already, like us on facebook, and check out our brand new home video, "Deep Lake" by Bruce Cockburn. What can I say? Our dog really digs it.
Be Here Now slated for offficial release on March 3, 2017
The official worldwide release date for Be Here Now has been set for March 3, 2017. Carol and Dale will kick it off with an album release concert in Hampton, VA. on March 4th, leading to other events throughout the spring. The album is meeting with great acclaim. Tracks from the album are already in rotation on Neon Music Radio, Spotify and other streaming sites. Also, several songs were entered in the International Songwriting Competition- more details on that soon.
Be Here Now!
The new album is now available! After 3 years of hard work to write, arrange, perform and record these songs, it is finally here!! We are so happy with this album, and it really sounds like "Carol and Dale." 4 instrumental tracks break up 8 other original, insightful and hopefully uplifting songs. We will be hitting the road to support the album in the coming months, so look for us, or contact us now about playing your town.
Almost Time!
We are getting excited as the mastering process moves into the final stage on the new album, Be Here Now. Trying to dot the t's and cross the i's, making sure the music and the package are the best we can share. Thanks to the Rockhouse for the recording and production, Azalea Studios for the incredible mastering, Fussell Graphics for pulling it all together, and all the musicians who brought their skills to the project. We 'll tell you more about them in future posts. Yes, it takes a village.
